NORVISKA’s Renderings Bring to Life O’Hare’s Satellite Concourse One.
Chicago O’Hare International Airport is undergoing a remarkable transformation. As part of the O’Hare 21 Terminal Area Plan, NORVISKA worked with the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill team, with Ross Barney Architects, Juan Gabriel Moreno Architects and Arup, on the renderings for Satellite Concourse One.
Over the past year and a half, we’ve collaborated closely with their team, participating in various stages of the creative process, even contributing to the selection of the right materials for this project.
✈️ Key Points:
Design Excellence: The bright, open spaces and natural materials enhance travel comfort and efficiency. A seamless flow ensures a pleasant experience, while thoughtfully designed public areas serve as a sanctuary for weary travelers to recharge before continuing their journey.
19 New Gates: Satellite Concourse One will add 19 flexible new gates, enhancing operational efficiency and significantly reducing layover times for both domestic and international flights.
